Overview

A capital within the capital

Centenary City is a 1,264-hectare master-planned city rising on Abuja's airport corridor. It is Nigeria's first economic free-zone city, conceived to mark a hundred years of modern Nigeria and built to international standards from the ground up.

At its heart is a financial district anchored by Africa Tower, planned as the tallest building in sub-Saharan Africa. Around it sit waterfront retail, branded hotels, a cultural museum, championship golf, an urban safari park and residential neighbourhoods, all within a fifteen-minute walk of one another.

The Grove is the city's flagship residential district, and the first to come out of the ground.

The Grove

Built, not promised

The Grove is a fully gated, fully serviced estate of terraced homes and apartments set along tree-lined internal streets. Roads, street lighting, drainage, paved walkways and landscaping are already delivered, not scheduled for a future phase.

The architecture is contemporary and built for the climate: clean white render with sandstone accents, deep shaded porticoes, timber pergolas and full-height glazing. Every home has a covered carport, a private forecourt and a roof terrace.

The Grove sits inside Centenary City, off Airport Road in the Federal Capital Territory, minutes from the international airport and about 25 km from the Central Business District.
